Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit nekokaraoke.ch or book a session, in line with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG).

In short We only collect what we need to run your booking and the website. All fonts are hosted on our own server, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. You can ask us about your data at any time.

2. What we collect and why

Bookings

When you book through our online booking system, we process your name, email address, phone number, the chosen room, date and time, and payment details. We use this to manage and confirm your reservation. Legal basis: performance of the contract with you.

When you contact us

If you write to us by email, WhatsApp, or phone, we process the information you choose to share in order to respond to you.

Website usage (server logs)

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of access. This helps us operate and secure the website. This data is not used to identify you personally.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of carefully chosen providers. Where they process data on our behalf, they do so under a data-processing agreement.

Online booking — SimplyBook.me (SimplyBook UAB, Lithuania): runs our reservation system and processes your booking data on our behalf.
Payments — Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland): processes your payment if you pay online through our booking system. Stripe receives the data required to process the payment (such as name and card details).
Web hosting — Hostpoint AG (Switzerland): hosts the website and stores the server logs.
Messaging — WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): if you contact us via WhatsApp, Meta processes your message under its own terms.
Outbound links to Google Maps, Instagram, and TikTok: these are ordinary links. Those services apply their own privacy policies once you visit them.

4. Transfers abroad

Some of the providers above (in particular Meta and Stripe) may process data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the USA. For such transfers we rely on the providers' contractual safeguards and the applicable data-protection frameworks.

5. Cookies

Our own website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The booking widget may set functional cookies that are technically necessary for the reservation process. Because we don't use any tracking or marketing cookies, we don't show a cookie-consent banner.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep booking and contact data only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and for any statutory retention periods (for example, accounting obligations). After that, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Under the revDSG you have the right to ask whether we process data about you and to receive a copy of it, and to have inaccurate data corrected or your data deleted. To exercise these rights, simply email office@nekokaraoke.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
